Tears Of Knowing follows Ava (Soleila Shea), a seven-year-old girl, as she arrives early to school one day. Rather than wait in the corridor she goes into her empty classroom, but hides under the desk when her teacher comes in. From there, she witnesses her frazzled and stressed teacher do something that ultimately betrays Ava’s trust.

While it’s nothing traumatic or gruesome, the teacher’s actions cause Ava to doubt an adult she previously trusted, capturing that well-known moment of lost innocence. The film is written and directed by LA-based director Miles Marti and is currently on the festival circuit.
