Funded by the Black Hollywood Education and Resources Center, Jamarcus Rose & Da 5 Bullet Holes is the latest film by LA-based director Marcellus Cox

Inspired by true events, the film tells the story of a talented high school major league baseball prospect who spends the day with his newly minted mentor from the Big Brothers of America program, which creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships between generations.

The short had its world premiere at the Julien Dubuque International Film Festival in Iowa on 21st April and is continuing its festival run.
