ONEFIVEFIVE Productions, an independent production company based in London, has released their Danny Dyer-led new short film, The Eternal Words of a Dead Verse, on YouTube. The film follows a priest as he deals with the news of terminal illness, forcing him to examine his faith.
The Eternal Words of a Dead Verse was written and directed by Gilbert Kyem Jnr, co-founder of ONEFIVEFIVE productions, and was executive produced by other co-founder, Stanley Morgan, as well as Danny Dyer and Zyna Goldy.
Alongside Dyer, the film stars Michael Abubakar, Jessie Bedrossian, Marty Cruikshank and Angus Wright.
On the film, Kyem Jnr said: “Father Richard’s faith in something bigger than him has been painfully altered and trusting the audience to dissect what faith looks like is imperative. No matter your background, in the face of disaster, we turn to to faith that we’ll make it to the other side. The hope and faith that we can see good in the future is what keeps us going. Faith isn’t without doubt or complexity but it’s vital, in order to keep going. In order to do good.”
