Ahead of its world premiere, the team behind The Knock Shadow, a psychological thriller written by Ren Dara Santiago and directed by Lauren Sowa, starring Lea DeLaria (Orange is the New Black), who’s also the film’s EP, has released the trailer. The film follows Yari (Elizabeth Ramos), a mysterious patient who inspires her therapist, played by Kenisha Pinckney, to challenge the very foundations of mental health treatment.

The Knock Shadow will screen for the first time at the 2026 SOHO International Film Festival this Friday in NYC. We spoke with the film’s EP and star Lea DeLaria in May and you can read that interview here. Watch the trailer for The Knock Shadow below.
