Want more of the Heated Rivalry boys? Here are 34 short films you can watch them in right now
Hudson Williams has the longest list of shorts in any filmography we’ve ever come across19 Jan 2026 | Natalia Albin & Molly Lipson
Unless you’ve been living under a boulder, you can’t have missed new HBO series Heated Rivalry’s Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie. They are everywhere. On the cover of GQ, at the Golden Globes, late night talk shows and probably – mainly – dominating your algorithm. In an unlikely tale of success, Williams and Storrie shot the steamy, sex-scene fuelled show in 37 days for small Canadian streamer Crave, but when HBO realised the potential through online fandom and picked up the show, the duo were almost immediately catapulted to mainstream stardom.
But before Heated Rivalry, both of them starred in, and even directed, numerous short films. Specifically, thirty-four altogether. The great news is, most of them are available to watch online right now. We’ve listed them all in chronological order, starting with Williams’s bonkers 29 shorts, six of which he also directed.
Corrie’s list looks much smaller than his co-star’s, but to be fair, twenty-nine is the most we’ve ever seen in someone’s filmography, so we think this number is just perfect. Well done, Connor.
Strap in, there’s no time to waste.
Hudson Williams
1. Snow Angel
Dir. Hudson Williams, (also starring Hudson Williams)
“Filmed this back in May, 2022 and it was my debut short film as a director!” Williams says. “After finishing it I felt I failed in lots of ways creatively with it, so it took some time to look at it with affection. And now I do! I have a lot of love for it for all the things it taught me and all the people I got to make it with.”
“With Snow Angel, we wanted to create a character study where the main character is our vessel for exploring morality in an immoral community of drug running. Stripping away any fancy set pieces, our goal was to explore unsolvable questions by putting them in a high-tension crock pot.”

And although there are things I would’ve liked to have done differently with this film, I’m still immensely proud of it and everyone who helped make it.
Hudson Williams is the reason this movie exists. I had an idea about two men going through a violent yet passionate breakup up, and he filled me with enough passion and help to go through with its creation.”
